The FIA has confirmed the timetable for the 2008 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix. The Singapore event will be the first-ever Grand Prix to be held at night, and is to take place on Sunday 28 September. So that drivers can familiarise themselves with the new track, the Friday practice session will be held between 4pm and 5.30pm before the second session is run after dark, starting at 8pm. The final practice on Saturday will take place at 5pm, and qualifying will start, again at 8pm. The race starts at 8pm on the Sunday evening under floodlights.
