In the modern era where 5 lol-zillion free email sites exist, that's kind of sad.

I mean, I just don't get it, if one did it the normal way, at most, they'd have to sign up twice, once for a free email and then for the roms/forums. Doing it the 'other' way, there's no telling how many times they would sign up.

So it definitely isn't to save time, and it definitely isn't because they can't get a working email address, so.....

i agree, its very frustrating for us as it gives false stats on the site & means we have to keep banning accounts & dealing with failure messages on the server.

we never sell or give away peoples information & we do not spam them, we dont use it for anything really apart from security & so if we send out a newsletter or announcement email we dont get like 1000's of bouncebacks.

we pay for the server each month & give away decent roms, alot of roms sites are full of spam & popups, voting & you get no roms, they are just there to cash in on advertising but people still abuse our site.

i cant understand it.

Also half of them are just link throughs to other sites (advertising revenue scheme); or half the downloads don't work; or they're bittorrent links (heh, I'd be banned so fast from my network if I used bittorrent it wouldn't be funny); or they're rapidshare/sendshare/etc links that die after 3 days (and you find it on the fourth day!); or you get a download that seems like it's coming off a server that's attached to the network via dialup modem... and then it dies halfway through the download. (I'm a picky ****er, aren't I. )

i dont blame you, that is one of the reasons we started this site, to give fast good downloads without all the bullshite.

we hate these sites that do nothing but give hundreds of pop-ups & spam the place up, it wouldnt be as bad if they actually gave you roms but they dont.

also if you have any decent roms that we do not have please let us know as we are always looking for roms we havnt got

also i have now fixed the annoucement issue, it was a URL-rewrite problem & should now be fixed, thanks for that.

I didn't think you were done uploading everything you had though? Or am I wrong there? Regardless, I'd be more than happy to share my stuff. I'll look through what have (for the systems you currently have up) and see if have anything you don't. Question though, should I upload them somewhere or send them to you via email?
