ok, do you want to push the domain over to my host then coz if im gonna use that domain i need to have control over it.

i cant really use a domain that i have no rights over, i dont expect you to give me access to all your domains or whatever but its not very practical for me not to have access to make changes to the domain.

i havnt yet spoken with the other admins as to if we are going to use google apps, but if you take a screenshot of the mx records that are setup for the domain i can copy them if needs be.

i will speak with them today & see what they think, a change like that to our system is not just my decision really.

Please dont think im being funny but asking you to push the domain but i just dont want to use a domain that i do not own & do not have control over

We have discussed this between admins. We have no need to use google apps for any part of the board it means that we will be moving away from our dedicated sever which we pay monthy for. There would be little point us having a external facing mail server if we are going to use google apps, more things can go wrong and if there is a problem with google apps then we have NO control over this.

Although I like your dedication and interest in the forums and board we NEED to stick to one dedicated server. Please pass over the domain name to Brooksy as this NEEDs to be controled by the forum admins.

alrite son, i have raised a support case with my host as per thier instructions & they will advise on what needs to be done.

it says on thier site it can be done by confirmation emails from both partys & to email them, so ive done that & ill keep you up to date on what happens.

The main reason for us choosing not to use google apps is that we have our own mailserver which we are happy with & does its job ok. google apps does look good & i like you putting ideas forward but this one is not for us.

I am also working on a webmail client for us that runs as a website & it looks pretty good, ill keep you all posted on that one.
