I tried downloading a DS ROM today. It was ridiculously slow. I'm talking 10 kb/s

Any reason you can think of?

damn, one possible reason is that you are in usa, our server is hosted in UK but that is poor speeds.

we have also had quite a few people downloading i think but the site has been a bit slow today, i have rebooted the server so hopefully it will be a bit better now.

there could also be some issues with a datacenter maybe?? i know a short while ago a datacenter dropped for a few hours overnight but that was then fixed by next morning.

I will email server support team & see what they say coz the site is damn slow for me too
